College & Career Wednesdays are Back!

Building on the incredible energy and success of last year, we are continuing our district-wide initiative to get our students excited about their futures. We are once again dedicating every Wednesday this school year to exploring the many amazing pathways available to them after graduation. Whether their next step is higher education, the military, a specialized trade, or jumping straight into the workforce, we want to help them envision their success.

To keep the momentum going, we are inviting all students and staff to continue participating in "Get in Gear" Wednesdays!

Every Wednesday, we encourage your student to sport gear that represents their future goals. This remains a fantastic way to spark conversations in the classroom and at home about different careers and educational paths.
Β

What kind of gear can students wear?

College and University Apparel: T-shirts, sweatshirts, or jerseys from their favorite college, university, or community college.
Workforce and Career Gear: Shirts promoting local businesses, companies, trades, or specific professions (e.g., a local construction company, a tech firm, a restaurant, or healthcare gear).
Military Branch Apparel: Shirts representing the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, or Space Force.
This initiative is completely optional, but we would love to see as many students participating as possible! We encourage you to use this as an opportunity to talk with your child at home about their interests, dreams, and what they might want to be when they grow up.

Thank you for your continued partnership in helping us prepare our students for bright and successful futures. We can’t wait to see everyone in their gear this Wednesday!
