Since 2013, Longleaf Elementary has been serving students with a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Over the decades, the school has grown alongside the vibrant Hattiesburg community, adapting and evolving to meet the needs of its diverse student body. Today, Longleaf Elementary proudly educates approximately 750 students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, reflecting the dynamic growth of the area. Longleaf Elementary consistently earns recognition for its dedication to academic achievement and positive school culture. The school has been lauded for its strong Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program, creating a respectful and responsible learning atmosphere.
